Arabic coffee dallah & cups

Serving coffee is the first thing that happens in an Emirati majlis, and the dallah is the piece everyone in the room looks at. What is gathered here is the serving side of the house: the dallah itself, the cups that go around it, and the presentation boxes that turn either into a gift.

The cups come in the two sizes an Arabic coffee service actually uses — 80 ml for the small pour and 160 ml where a fuller cup is expected — in stainless steel and in the Emirates edition with a gold or silver rim. The silver Dirham dallah and the VIP dallah box set are the presentation pieces: the ones given to a guest, a minister or a delegation rather than kept in the kitchen.
